Clinical Pilates

Pilates is a system of exercise first developed by ‘Joseph Pilates’ in 1920’s. Pilates exercises tend to focus on core stability, flexibility, balance and strength and have been employed by dancers and athletes alike for injury prevention. Clinical Pilates, designed by Physiotherapists in Australia, adopted the Pilates exercise repertoire and then adapted it to develop a system for treatment of musculoskeletal injuries and neurological conditions.  Clinical Pilates is a very safe, heavily supervised exercise system taught by Qualified Physiotherapists and is extremely effective for managing a number of conditions.
